Happy Friday! Lucien's been away enjoying some much-needed poolside Sun in Jamaica. We're all very happy for him!
The remainder of Second Half has been sent deep into the Fiery Lava Hell Planet mines to construct heavy industry and infrastructure projects.
Last time, there were dogs. This week, there are still dogs, but there is also lava rocks.
Historically these things do not mix well.
The Hottest Rocks Around
Our resident 3D artist has moved from junk mountains to lava rocks as our Reason sprint gets fully underway.

These will serve as props and landscaping for the outdoors sections of our Interchange Transit Yards level, where the player will navigate heat zones ranging from "annoying" to "lethal."
"Annoying" of course being a crisp 300°C. Mild for a person in a robot body like you!

Bad Dogs
The security tech industry of the future is all about the cutting edge. If you don't push forwards and make that big breakthrough, someone with a deeper wallet and looser morals will beat you to it!
Def-Seculabs is proud to say its Bulldog Laser-and-Melee Model (BLAMM) will do its duty of chasing miscreants out of your secret space facilities. All this on a shoestring budget!
These dogs will go above and beyond the call of duty, risking life and limb to protect your corporate intelligence.
Update: I've just been told the robots have been programmed to no longer jump into the abyss. Ah well, it was nice while it lasted!
Bringing Back the Big Guns
It's just the one big gun actually. Gamescom playtesters who deigned to look up might recognise this one!

Looking Ahead
It will very soon be time for Friends & Family playtesting! As we keep working towards that, we've got a lot more work to do to turn Reason into reality.
